What you need to know about the baby seat on the new Tesla Model 3 sedan
A baby seat that fits the car?
It’s finally here.
Tesla announced the seat in a post on its Instagram account this morning.
The seat, which is designed for children ages 1 to 6 months old, is available in white and grey.
The seat is designed to allow children to recline in a safe, comfortable position, according to the company.
It’s not clear if the seat will be available to Tesla’s Model 3 lineup, though the company did announce the seats will be coming to a few more models.
Tesla is also partnering with the US military and will start selling the seat at its stores in the US, China, and South Korea this week.
“As an automotive pioneer, Tesla is proud to introduce our first child seat for the Model 3,” Elon Musk said in a statement.
When the seat first debuted last month, Musk said the seat was made to fit “the smallest children in the world.”
Tesla has not yet released pricing or availability for the seat, but it will be on sale in stores in mid-November.
